UPDATE:  As we near the last week in February, we now have heard that many of the Tax Credits that were being held due to the PATH ACT are to be deposited on Thursday, February 22, 2018. This will certainly make many of our tax clients day as many thousands of dollars find there way into their accounts. We completed and filed our 802nd return this past weekend as walk in and appointments continue to be experienced. We are having a great time meeting with new and returning clients and assisting them with their tax filing needs. Federal and SC deposits are being made on a regular basis and we are getting closer to the date that delayed tax credits will be made. The Earned Income Tax Credit and the Additional Child Tax Credit benefit many of our early filers and we have many such returns waiting to be funded. If you are interested in an Advance, we have all the details.  Just call or drop by our office. We accept walk-ins and we also book appointments. If you are a new client, we would ask that you go to our Contact page and complete the Request Appointment and Appointment worksheet in order to streamline the check-in process. The new Tax Cuts and Job Acts of 2017 that was just passed and signed by President Trump will take affect on January 1, 2018 and will have minimal impact on tax year 2017. As part of our tax planning that we do every year with most of our clients, we will be able to forecast what effect the new law will have on you so there will be ample time to make changes if need be. We certainly are pleased with the enhancement to our software and we certainly look forward to passing on this valuable information when you pay us a visit.
